The lentil is a psychanthes plant in terms of family, herbaceous,
annual and dicotyledon. There are several varieties with different
size and color seeds, like blond green, Brown, Red and black. The
fruits of marketed as dried legumes cultivated since ancient times.
In Greece the lentil widely grown in all regions of the country
after adapts to many climate types. The seeds are legume with great
nutritional value, rich in iron, phosphorus, carbohydrates,
protein and b vitamins.
